2018
One workshop, one promise.
Dawin opens a four-bench joinery in Kyambogo. Our first client is a café in Ntinda. We deliver in eleven days, on budget, and learn that finishing well is the only thing that compounds.

2019
From joinery to design–build.
We bring spatial design in-house. The team grows to twelve. We finish our first corporate office suite and learn that great hospitality is invisible.

2020
Building through a quiet year.
The world pauses. We don't. We use the slow months to write our material library, formalise our operations system, and build the first iteration of workshop floor.

A studio, not a contractor.
We launch the Dawin Finishes catalogue bespoke pieces made in Kyambogo, specified anywhere. Today, design, finishes, manufacture, and install all live under one roof.

Listen.
Every project starts on the floor of the space, not behind a desk. We walk the site, map traffic, photograph the light at three times of day, and listen to how the people who'll use the room already use it.

The Kyambogo workshop runs four benches and a dedicated finish room. Every joint, edge and surface is checked twice — once at the bench, once at the door.
